Authentic Gaming was bought once again, this time the company was acquired by Scientific Games Corporation, an American company that provides gambling products and services.
The acquisition comes a week after Scientific Games sold its lottery business to US asset management firm Brookfield Business Partners LP for $6.05 billion as part of the company’s strategy to increase its investment in digital.
It is the third time the Authentic Gaming company has been sold, before being sold to its new owner, Scientific Games, it was owned by Leo Vegas and Genting.
Authentic Gaming currently supports European iGaming through a variety of live casino products. The Malta-based company, that is known for live roulette games, has recently added live blackjack to its range of games streamed live. The games are currently integrated with major casino operators such as Entain, 888, Betway Group, LeoVegas and Mr Green.
The acquisition is great for Authentic, as the investment will allow them to expand their product line to include more non-roulette games. Also, a necessary step if Scientific plans to be even more competitive in the US market.
