We all miss Unibet Open
“I really enjoyed the tournament. It’s really nice to be able to play a big tournament these days since I kind of miss competing in the big live stuff.” – Dominik Nitsche
Like Nitsche himself said, we all miss the Unibet Open and the feeling of a live poker tournament. Unfortunately this global pandemic has prevented us (thanks to social distancing) organizing bigger events, but hopefully we can slowly start recovering and host tournaments all over the world again.
Unibet has already stated that all Unibet Open events for 2021 will be held online. The whole series will have a whopping prize pool of 1 million euros, and there’s going to be a total of 145 tournaments held in total. Its safe to say that we are all keeping our fingers crossed for the live poker scene to start getting back to normal. Poker traffic online in general has seen a new high during the pandemic, and chances are that this new wave of interest for the game will stay strong.
